Highlights of the 2013 Blueprint for Jobs plan include:

• Cutting taxes for ONE MILLION small businesses, by eliminating the Corporate Tax for 200,000 small businesses over the next four years and by providing 800,000 small businesses with a 10-percent Personal Income Tax exemption;
• Lowering energy bills for every New Yorker and every business, by rejecting the proposed extension of the 18-a energy tax surcharge;
• Eliminating 1,000 unnecessary and costly business regulations;
• Implementing common-sense budget reforms to further control state spending and prevent tax increases;
• Expanding access to job training programs;
• Helping New York's veterans, by providing a tax credit to businesses that hire a veteran returning home from military service; and
• Reform High Unemployment Insurance and Worker's Compensation Costs;

The Senate Republican Blueprint for Jobs is a job creation plan that could help improve New York’s business climate.
