The PFC Joseph Dwyer Program provides peer-to-peer counseling and assistance to veterans who are living with the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury. Since its inception, the program had been operating in four test counties. Senator John A. DeFrancisco was instrumental in helping to expand the program in the 2013-14 State Budget to additional counties, including Onondaga County. State funding for the program will be routed to Clear Path for Veterans.
