State Senator John A. DeFrancisco today announced that his legislation (S3731), which would remove a 10-year cap on property tax breaks for Cold War era veterans, passed the Senate.
If enacted, this bill would provide for a permanent property tax break instead of requiring a sunset of the tax break after 10 years.
“All service members should be rewarded for their commitment to serving our country. Cold War era Veterans should receive the same benefit as all other veterans, and this bill will make it possible,” said Senator DeFrancisco.
