(Bronx, NY)- Senator José M. Serrano visited PS 385 Performance School in the Bronx to congratulate Amiyah Collins as the winner of the New York State Senate Earth Day Poster Contest for the 29th Senate District. Students from schools throughout the 29th Senate District contributed to the Earth Day poster contest displaying their commitment to the environment and their communities.
"I was truly impressed by all the wonderful submissions I received for the Senate Earth Day Poster Contest," said Senator Serrano."Each entry from my District displayed tremendous originality and vision as well as obvious concern for the ecological future of our communities and our state. I am proud of all the work displayed by the students in my district. Once again, congratulations to Amiyah for her wonderful display of commitment to improving our environment," concluded Serrano.
