Governor Andrew Cuomo has just unveiled his new Executive Budget Proposal -- marking the beginning of the State Budget negotiation and adoption process for the 2013-2014 Fiscal Year.
For the past two years, the Senate successfully passed on-time budgets that achieved our key goals of controlling spending, avoiding tax increases and helping to create new private sector jobs. This year, we will look to build upon this progress by passing another on-time, fiscally responsible budget that keeps New York moving forward.
