NY State Education Commissioner To Visit First Senatorial District Tuesday Nov. 26

New York State Senator Kenneth P. LaValle  announces that New York State Education Commissioner Dr. John King will visit the First Senatorial District to give parents, students, and educators the opportunity to ask questions and express their concerns about the New York State Education Department’s roll out of the Common Core, teacher evaluations, testing and student privacy.

The forum will be held on Tuesday November 26, 2013 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Eastport- South Manor High School,  543 Moriches-Middle Island Road  Manorville, NY 11949 in the school’s 1,000 seat auditorium.
