Senator Grisanti Appointed to Sit on Powerful Finance Committee in New York State Senate

Senator Mark Grisanti (R, I-60) has been reappointed as Chairman of the Environmental Conservation Committee and has also been appointed to sit on the Finance Committee in the New York State Senate.
 
"As a member of the powerful Senate Finance Committee, I will have oversight on the state budget, have a role at confirming all Senate nominations, and be able to vote on any piece of legislation that has a fiscal impact before it is sent to the floor of the Senate," said Senator Grisanti.

In addition to serving as Chairman of the Environmental Conservation committee and a member of the Finance committee, Senator Grisanti will also continue to sit on the following committees: Higher Education, Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs, Insurance and Labor.
