Senator Golden Honors Local High School Volleyball Champs

Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) yesterday attended an awards breakfast in honor of the Fort Hamilton High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team upon their winning the PSAL B Division City Championship held in the School’s library. This is the second consecutive year that team has won the title and recorded a season record of 13-0.

Senator Golden stated, “I was proud to join in the celebration of this achievement yesterday and recognize the outstanding local sports talent. Once again, Fort Hamilton High School Tigers have made us proud and have brought home a City championship. Congratulations to the coaches, the school, the team and their families on a great season.”

Senator Golden presented each of the teammates with a Certificate of Achievement.
