The supplies will be given out at the 3rd Annual Back to School Event.
“Providing children with the tools to succeed and receive a proper education is the responsibility of every New Yorker. Today I am proud to join with Catholic Charities and Our Lady of Angels Human Service Center to help collect and distribute basic school supplies for those who are in need,” said Senator Golden. “With your help, we can make sure that every student, regardless of their economic standing, has the same chance to succeed, and has the same access to school supplies so that they can strive to fulfill the American Dream. I am encouraging all residents to drop off school supplies at by District Office between now and August 22nd.”
