State Senator Patty Ritchie met with community leaders and union representatives about their plans to advocate on behalf of the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center at the New York State Office of Mental Health Listening Tour on May 15th at the facility’s Unity Center.
The group is urging supporters of the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center to register to attend the public meeting that will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m on May 15th. Those wishing to sign up to speak may do so here.
Present at the meeting were Ogdensburg Mayor William Nelson, St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency Director Patrick Kelly, Ogdensburg City Manager John Pinkerton, Civil Service Employees Association representative Bill Lapinsky, Public Employee Federation (PEF) representative Virginia Davey and New York State Correctional Officers Police Benevolent Association representative Gregory Tarbox.
