Former Immaculate Heart Central Athlete a Member of Le Moyne Dolphins Lacrosse Team
State Senator Patty Ritchie recognized Watertown’s Tyler Prevost with an official Senate Resolution this week for his role in helping the Le Moyne College men’s lacrosse team capture the 2013 NCAA Division II National Championship title.
Prevost scored one goal and had two assists in the championship game against Mercyhurst, which was played at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Under the leadership of head coach Dan Sheehan, Le Moyne secured the program’s fourth national championship by defeating Mercyhurst 11-10.
An accomplished athlete, Prevost previously played lacrosse at Immaculate Heart Central High School and at Onondaga Community College. He has been named Northeast-10 Conference First Team All League, two consecutive years, is a two-time NCAA All American and is a two-time NJCAA Champion.
