Statement on John B. Johnson Jr.

John B. Johnson Jr. has played an instrumental role in telling the North Country’s story.

His love of journalism—as well as his belief in the future of our region — has been evident in his work.  If you wanted to know how Mr. Johnson felt, all you needed to do is pick up a copy of the Watertown Daily Times.

Mr. Johnson has used the Watertown Daily Times to stand up for our region, and he has worked tirelessly on issues such as the expansion of Fort Drum and countless other initiatives to promote and improve life in Northern New York. 

I wish Mr. Johnson the best of luck and look forward to continuing to work with him to stand up for Watertown, Fort Drum and the North Country community.
