Babylon, NY - Senator Phil Boyle (R-Bay Shore) joined Tess Helfman, President of the Board of Directors of the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition (BBCC) at the 15th Annual Chefs For A Cause fundraising dinner held at The Venetian Yacht Club in Babylon Village on May 15, 2013.
“On this 20th Anniversary of the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition, I want to thank the founders; Debbie Basile, Betti Ann Innes, Pat Smith and the many BBCC volunteers for their unfaltering dedication to the research, treatment, and prevention of cancer,” Senator Boyle said. “I applaud the BBCC for their grass roots efforts and public outreach in assisting those who are battling this deadly disease.”
Proceeds from the May 15th dinner will benefit the many outreach and educational programs the BBCC provides to the residents of Town of Babylon and the community at large. The many generous donations received at the event will allow BBCC to pursue goals of prevention, research, education, patient services and support for those with breast and gynecological cancer.
BBCC is located at 100 Montauk Highway in Copiague. To learn more about BBCC, visit their website at www.babylonbreastcancer.org or call (631) 893-4110.
