Senator Boyle Hosts Brentwood 3 On 3 Basketball Tournament

Brentwood, NY – Senator Phil Boyle (R-Bay Shore) hosted his first annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament on July 13, 2013 from noon until 8:00 pm at the Brentwood Recreation Center, located at 99 3rd Avenue in Brentwood.
“We had a great turnout in Brentwood and I want to congratulate the First Place Tournament Winners Kris Sidial, Cortell King, and Brandon Smith and everyone who came out to participate in my first annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament today,” Senator Boyle said. “I would also like to thank Youth Enrichment Services and the community businesses and organizations that helped make this event such a success.”
The 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament was open to people of all skill levels, 13 years and older, with multiple brackets based on the age of the participants.
Cooking, boxing, and step dance demonstrations were provided by local organizations throughout the day. For all participants, free BBQ lunches were provided by Applebees and free refreshments were provided by Long Island Harvest, Inc.
Members of the Police Athletic League were on hand at the Brentwood Recreation Center with lots of giveaways. The Party 105FM Van was also on hand to cover the day’s events.
