Friends and family joined newly elected State Senator Phil Boyle as he was sworn into office by NY Supreme Court Appellate Judge Peter B. Skelos at an official ceremony held at the State Capitol on January 9, 2013.
Senator Boyle said, “I am honored to be given this opportunity to represent my many friends and neighbors in Suffolk County. As State Senator, my priorities lie in the recovery of our communities devastated by Hurricane Sandy; in the overall economic development of Long Island, allowing for businesses to thrive and provide jobs for our unemployed; and in keeping our communities safe for our children and families.”
Senator Boyle was recently elected to the seat that Senator Owen H. Johnson held for over 40 years.
