SENATOR TERRY GIPSON JOINS GOVERNOR CUOMO IN POUGHKEEPSIE TO DELIVER HOLIDAY GIFTS AND COATS TO THE CATHARINE STREET COMMUNITY CENTER
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY -- New York State Senator Terry Gipson (D-Dutchess, Putnam) joined Governor Cuomo today at the Catharine Street Community Center in the City of Poughkeepsie to deliver holiday gifts and coats for children. The Catharine Street Community Center provides services to children and families in the community, especially those faced with difficult economic and social circumstances. Assemblyman Frank Skartados, local officials and community members, also joined Senator Gipson and Governor Cuomo.
"It was a pleasure to join Governor Cuomo in the City of Poughkeepsie for this special event and for such an important cause," said Senator Gipson. "The Catharine Street Community Center is a true asset to the City of Poughkeepsie that provides valuable services to many families in our community. I enjoyed the opportunity to deliver these gifts and coats that were generously donated to the children and families of Poughkeepsie and to spread some holiday cheer," Senator Gipson concluded.
