SENATOR TERRY GIPSON’S STATEMENT ON MORELAND REQUEST FOR CLIENT INFORMATION
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – New York State Senator Terry Gipson (D-Dutchess, Putnam) issued the following statement in response to the Moreland Commission’s request for state lawmakers to disclose information relating to their clients outside of the legislature:
“I fully support the Moreland Commission’s efforts. When one commits to serving the public, they should be fully committed to those they serve and not the interests of private clients.
“As an Albany outsider, I have continuously echoed that the public’s trust must be earned. Our constituents deserve complete transparency, and I am committed to fighting for good government and reform in New York State.”
