Albany, N.Y., January 29—State Senator Tom O’Mara (R-C, Big Flats), a new member of the Senate Finance Committee which this week began a series of public hearings on Governor Andrew Cuomo’s 2013-14 proposed state budget, has launched an online “2013 Economic & Fiscal Survey” that invites area residents to share their views on several of the key economic and fiscal challenges facing New York this year.

The second-term state senator said the new online survey offers an opportunity for local constituents to share their own views and suggestions on this year’s state budget.

“This online survey provides another avenue to encourage local input on several of the key economic and fiscal challenges facing our region and the state as a whole in 2013.  I’m always grateful for the input,” said O’Mara, whose 58th  Senate District includes all of Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and Yates counties, and part of Tompkins County (the city of Ithaca, and the towns of Enfield, Ithaca, Newfield, and Ulysses).
