Senator Stavisky Addresses College Students Advocating for Higher Education

STATE SENATOR TOBY ANN STAVISKY ADDRESSES COLLEGE STUDENTS ADVOCATING FOR HIGHER EDUCATION
ALBANY, NY – State Senator Toby Ann Stavisky spoke recently to students advocating for continued funding for the opportunity programs and the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP).
"Whether it's HEOP, C-STEP, TAP, or any other higher education program, students need help," said Senator Stavisky. "Too many students are graduating college overwhelmed by debt. Access to quality, affordable education is essential to growing our economy. I applaud these students for their dedication and work on behalf of this critical issue."
College students from across the state came to Albany to advocate for funding higher education opportunity programs which provide funding assistance to students in need of assistance.
