Senator Bill Larkin (R-C-I, Cornwall-on-Hudson) announced that he has been reappointed to several key standing committees in the New York State Senate for the 2013 Legislative Session. Specifically, Senator Larkin has been reappointed to the following committees: Corporations, Authorities and Commissions; Finance; Health; Insurance; Rules; Transportation; and Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs.
Larkin also announced that he has been named to serve on the Senate's 2013 Health and Mental Hygiene budget subcommittees. These subcommittees review aspects of the Governor's state budget and make recommendations for the upcoming budget negotiations between the Senate, Assembly and the Governor.
"I am honored to be reappointed to these committees," said Senator Larkin. "As we begin both the legislative and budget committee process I look forward to serving my constituents by my participation on these vital committees."
