Remembering September 11th
Dean G. Skelos
September 10, 2014
It’s hard to believe that 13 years have passed since nearly 3,000 lives were tragically cut short.
Please join me in taking a moment today to remember and honor the lives of all those who were taken from us, the brave heroes who helped save lives, and the men and women still working to protect us. Now, more than ever, we must continue to demonstrate that we remain the strongest, most compassionate, and most resilient nation in the world.
Nothing can destroy the American spirit. May God bring comfort to the families of the victims of 9/11, and may he always bless the United States of America.
The members of the New York State Senate solemnly remember and honor the lives of those who were lost on September 11th, 2001, and encourage all New Yorkers to consider attending one of the many memorial commemorations taking place in communities across the state.
