Senator Skelos' Pet Food Drive Challenge
Dean G. Skelos
February 28, 2014
As an animal lover, it is my pleasure to take part in the Pet Food Drive Challenge in partnership with Long Island Cares. Throughout the month of March, I will be collecting food and necessary items for all animals, which will allow for more pets to stay at home with their families and keep them out of shelters.
The most needed items are:
- 5 or 10 pound bags of dog food and cat food
- Canned food
- Kitty litter
- New pet toys
- Other types of food/items for all pets including hamsters, fish and ferrets
If you would like to make a donation, all items can be dropped off to my District Office located at 55 Front Street in Rockville Centre or to the John A. Anderson Recreation Center located at 111 North Oceanside Road in Rockville Centre.
As always, if you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to call my office at 516-766-8383.
