State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) had the pleasure of promoting Blue Friday, April 25th, with his friends Sean and Richie at 107.7 WGNA Radio Station this morning.

"The first year we started doing this was in 2005, and I worked with radio station WGNA in creating this official State day to salute fallen law enforcement officers, and to support the families of fallen officers," Senator Farley said.

He was also honored to receive a plaque from Blue Friday of New York, recognizing the Senator for his unwavering support of Blue Friday over the years.

Blue Friday New York is a nonprofit organization that helps survivors of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty by serving as a clearinghouse for benefits, information, and resources.

Senator Farley also presented WGNA and Pat Fox of Blue Friday of New York with a New York State Senate Citation. To listen to the presentation from this morning’s WGNA show visit http://wgna.com/senator-farley-and-pat-fox-visits-sr/
