Senator Martins Announces Passage of Legislative Resolutions Honoring Manhasset-Lakeville Firefighters for Their 25 Years of Community Service

Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) announced that the New York State Senate recently honored four members of the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department for their 25 years of community service.
The Senate passed legislative resolutions, sponsored by Senator Martins, to recognize the following members of the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department for their service as volunteer firefighters over the last 25 years:
• Captain John Bernic
• Ex-Captain Peter Denardis
• Ex-Captain Stephen Flynn
• Ex-Chief Michael Uttaro
With Senate passage of the resolutions, the names and actions of these four community heroes will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
“Over the last 25 years, these four men have donated their time and made sacrifices to keep the Manhasset community safe. We owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude for everything they have done. I am pleased the Senate paid tribute to their many years of community service,” said Senator Martins.
