Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) announced that he has secured state funding for technology improvements at the Mineola Library.
The Library will use the funding for technological equipment and upgrades. This includes the purchase of new laptops, PCs, a server, and a printer which will improve the services the Library is able to offer to the Village.
“By enhancing the services the Library provides to residents, this new technology will benefit the entire Mineola community. I am pleased to support the Library’s efforts to further improve customer service,” said Senator Martins.
“On behalf of the staff, patrons, and Board of Trustees of the Mineola Library, I would like to thank Senator Martins for the grant of $25,000 we received from his office. This grant is important to our library as it allows us to make purchases of items that we would not be able to afford through our budget,” said Mineola Library Director Charles Sleefe.
