Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) announced that he has secured state funding for technology and facility improvements at the Williston Park Library.
The library will use the $25,000 in state funding to upgrade technology at the service desks, thereby allowing staff to assist patrons in a more efficient manner. The library will also be repainting and installing new carpeting in its reading and staff areas.
“The Williston Park Library is an invaluable resource for local residents. Investing in new technology will help enhance the services the Library provides to the Williston Park community. I am pleased to support the Library’s efforts,” said Senator Martins.
“We are so thankful and appreciative to Senator Martins for securing this funding for us and for being a wonderful library advocate,” said Donna McKenna, Director of the Williston Park Library.
