Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District, pictured fourth left) recently congratulated Manhasset resident Vincent Tomaselli on completing his Eagle Scout project to benefit the Science Museum of Long Island. Vincent is a member of Boy Scout Troop 71 and a junior at Manhasset High School.
Vincent’s Eagle Scout project was to totally refurbish the unfinished attic of the Museum’s barn so that it could be repurposed and used as the museum’s new anthropology lab. The project took approximately six months of work to complete.
Senator Martins joined with Vincent and his family, Science Museum staff, Troop 71 leaders, Plandome Manor Mayor Barbara Donno and Supervisor Judi Bosworth’s representative Rachel Brinn at the unveiling and dedication of the new room.
