Senator Martins Congratulates New Port Washington Police Chief

Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently attended the swearing-in ceremony for new Port Washington Police District Chief James Salerno. Senator Martins congratulated Chief Salerno and wished him the very best for success.
Chief Salerno has been serving the community as a member of the Port Washington Police District for nearly 30 years, the last ten as an Assistant Chief to now-retired Chief William Kilfoil. Chief Salerno is the 10th Police Chief in the District’s history.
