Senator Jack Martins (R-Mineola), Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, and Legislator Rose Walker will be sponsoring a free KidPix photo ID program in Hickville. The program will be held on Friday, April 25th from 2 pm to 4:30 pm at the Hicksville Library (169 Jerusalem Avenue, Hicksville).
The KidPix program gives parents a convenient way to keep their children’s important information on a single, wallet sized ID card. The KidPix card includes the child’s name, physical description, contact information, and photograph. The child’s fingerprint is also included on the back of the card. In the event that a child goes missing, parents can give the KidPix card to law enforcement as a helpful tool to help return the child home more quickly.
Nassau County children of all ages can participate in the KidPix program. Photos and fingerprints will be processed on-site and families will be able to take their KidPix cards home right from the event. Families will be served on a first come, first served basis. No appointments are required.
