Senator Jack Martins (R-7th Senate District) was recently honored by the Cow Bay Theatre Company.

Senator Martins received the organization’s Spotlight Award “in recognition of his continuing concern and peripatetic efforts to represent the best interests not only the Senate District he represents, in particular, but also those of New York State, in general, while making time to support community theater and other cultural bodies on the most local level whenever possible.”

The Cow Bay Theatre Company is a voluntary, non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and entertain the residents of Port Washington and its North Shore neighbors by providing them with a continuing live theatre experience that will enhance the quality of their lives and stimulate civic pride.

"Port Washington is a very special community, and the arts are a piece of its heart and soul. The Cow Bay Theatre Company is a part of that tradition and they are helping to ensure that the arts remain a vibrant part of Port Washington. I'm honored to receive this special recognition from the Cow Bay Theatre Company," said Senator Martins.
