Senator Martins Honors New Hicksville Eagle Scouts

     Senator Jack M. Martins (R-Mineola) announced that the New York State Senate has passed legislative resolutions he sponsored honoring three members of Boy Scout Troop 382 in Hicksville for attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.

     The legislative resolutions honored Matthew Starks, Vincent Lant, and Matthew Koprowski on earning Scouting’s highest honor. With passage of the resolutions, Matthew, Vincent, and Matthew’s achievements will forever be part of the official record of the New York State Senate.

     Senator Martins attended the Court of Honor held for the three scouts to personally congratulate them.

     “Matthew, Vincent, and Matthew have spent years working hard and serving their community in pursuit of this honor, and now they have earned a place among scouting’s most elite; the Eagle Scouts. I have no doubt that these three young men will continue to achieve great things in the future. I congratulate them on this well-deserved honor and wish them the very best for continued success,” said Senator Martins.
