With fall now upon us, Senator Jack M. Martins (R-Mineola) is sponsoring a free “Discover Long Island” Tourism Program to inform residents about the many attractions on Long Island for residents to take advantage of this fall. The program will take place on Tuesday, September 30th at 1 p.m. at the Hillside Library (155 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park).
Representatives from the Long Island Convention & Visitors Bureau will offer information about the numerous local attractions and activities residents can take advantage of this fall, including visits to farms, orchards, historic sites which illustrate Long Island’s rich history, children’s attractions, and events.
Even with summer over, Long Island still has plenty to offer as residents transition through the cool, crisp autumn days into the holiday season. Residents who would like more information about the free “Discover Long Island” tourism program on September 30th at the Hillside Library can call Senator Martins’ office at 516-746-5924.
