Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) and students from Manhasset Secondary School recently teamed up to brighten the spirits of children in need.
The students collected toys for Senator Martins’ annual holiday toy drive to benefit children in Winthrop-University Hospital. Senator Martins visited the school to pick-up the toys and personally thank the students for their efforts.
“It’s wonderful to see Manhasset’s students embracing the spirit of giving and working so hard to make a difference for children in need. Each toy they collected will bring some extra cheer to a family which could really use it. They did a great job, and I thank them for their efforts,’ said Senator Martins.
