(Bronx, NY)- Senator Serrano celebrated the arts at the Bronx Opera Company's Annual Gala Celebration. The Bronx Opera celebrated their 47th anniversary of bringing arts and culture to the Bronx.
"It is always a pleasure to join The Bronx Opera's Michael Spierman, one of my heroes from the world of the arts," said Senator Serrano. "The Opera's annual gala celebration commemorates the achievements this company has made in exposing the community to the beauty of the arts. Few people are as dedicated to the arts and culture as Michael. I want to thank him for his work in promoting the arts in the Bronx," concluded Serrano.
Senator Serrano is the most vocal advocate in the State Senate for the arts and serves as the Ranking Member on the Senate Committee on Cultural Affairs.
