Senator Serrano's Remarks on Senate Resolution Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of D-Day

(Albany, NY)- Senator Serrano spoke on the Senate floor commemorating the 70th anniversary of D-Day, which occurred on June 6, 1944. D-Day was arguably the most significant turning point in our history. As we approach the 70th anniversary of this historic day, let's remember and honor the courage and sacrifice of the young soldiers who fought and died on the beaches of Europe. They took a stand against the tyranny, totalitarianism, racism and bigotry of that time.
