Statement on 9/11 Anniversary

On this September 11, the thirteenth anniversary of the tragic events witnessed by our city and nation, we take a moment to pay homage to all those we lost that day. We express our appreciation for all the individuals who took part in our country's largest rescue and recovery, especially our FDNY, NYPD, EMS and other uniformed personnel, and we are reminded of the need to support our military who remain vigilant in the fight against the evil and hatred of terrorists. May God continue to bless our great city, state and country.
