In advance of Memorial Day, Senator Kathy Marchione will attend, speak at Greenbush Area YMCA veterans ceremony/breakfast tomorrow morning, Thursday, May 22, 2014

Senator Marchione will thank veterans for their service and recognize U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Terry Fox, one of NY’s most decorated and distinguished veterans who saw more than 2,000 hours of combat fights during the Vietnam War

 

In advance recognition of Memorial Day – and part of her ongoing thanks to New York’s heroic veterans for their courageous, honorable service – Senator Kathleen A. Marchione (R,C-Halfmoon) will attend and speak at tomorrow’s (Thursday, May 22) veterans breakfast being held at the Greenbush Area YMCA at 9 a.m.

 

In addition to recognizing Sergeant Terry Fox, Senator Marchione will formally present him with a framed Senate Resolution memorializing his bravery in logging more than 2,000 hours of combat fights during the Vietnam War. Many local officials and veterans representatives will attend tomorrow morning’s breakfast at the YMCA expected to attract 70-100 attendees.
