Senator Grisanti Will Vote "No" on Board of Regents Incumbents

"Today I will be voting "NO" to re-elect the current members of the Board of Regents. The status quo is unacceptable and I cannot in good conscience vote for those individuals who are most responsible for creating the anxiety, uncertainty and fear in New York's classrooms.  It's time to clean up this mess.

However, the New York City dominated State Assembly will act unilaterally to re-elect members of the Board of Regents it controls, the same Board of Regents responsible for the flawed implementation of the Common Core Learning Standards."
