Senator Mike Nozzolio Hosts “Firefighter of the Week” Recognition: Individuals can submit photos via Senator Nozzolio’s Facebook page

In an effort to honor our local volunteer firefighters, New York State Senator Mike Nozzolio will be hosting a “Firefighter of the Week” photo gallery on his Facebook page.   Individuals are invited to submit a photo and brief description of a local firefighter so that they can be recognized for their outstanding service, dedication and commitment.

“Our brave firefighters represent the best our local communities have to offer and serve as the first line of response when disaster strikes,” said

Senator Mike Nozzolio. “Despite the risks involved, our firefighters continue to put themselves in harm’s way each and every time they answer a call for help. They are truly heroes in every sense of the word and I am honored to have the opportunity to recognize their service each week on my Facebook page .”

To submit a photo, visit Senator Nozzolio’s facebook page at www.facebook.com/SenatorNozzolio. Please make sure to ask for permission from the individual before sharing their name, photo and information. Firefighters must reside in Senator Nozzolio’s district to be included in the photo gallery.

Photos will be posted once a week in the order they were received.
