Event to Feature New Location, More Organizations Than Ever Before
State Senator Patty Ritchie is reminding Northern New Yorkers that her annual Jefferson County Senior Health and Wellness Fair will take place on Wednesday.
This year’s Senior Health and Wellness Fair will be bigger and better than ever before, featuring more than 60 businesses and organizations as well as a brand new location, the Bruce M. Wright Memorial Conference Center, located at 1291 Faichney Drive in Watertown.
The event—which is being hosted in conjunction with the Jefferson County Office for the Aging—will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and offer free health screenings, wellness tips and more. Entertainment and lunch—prepared by “chefs in training” from Oswego County Citi will also be provided. Flu shots will be available and those interested in receiving a shot are reminded to bring their insurance information.
“My Jefferson County Senior Fair is an event that hundreds of people in our region look forward to every fall,” said Senator Ritchie.
“I’m excited to welcome everyone to a new location on Wednesday and to connect our area’s seniors with organizations and businesses that can help them to improve their well-being and live their lives to their fullest potential.”
For those traveling via Watertown’s CitiBus system, please be advised that the bus will be stopping at the Senior Fair’s new location. For more information on Wednesday’s event and to view a list of organizations that will be in attendance, please click here.
