Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz Shares Information of Funeral Service for Teen Cousins Who Drowned in Bronx River
New York State Senator Reverend Ruben Diaz (D-Bronx) has been asked to share the following information with the media and the public about the funeral arrangements for the two 13-year old cousins, Wellington Gavin and Erickson Villa, who died after drowning in the Bronx River last week.
The Funeral Services for both teens will be held from 3PM - 9PM on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Bridges Community Church, located at 1010 East 174th Street, between Longfellow and Boone Avenues, in the Bronx. The viewing will begin at 3PM and the service will begin at 7PM.
Donations to help send the bodies of the two teens back to the Dominican Republic for burial are welcome. Checks should be made payable to "Robinson Villa" and can be deposited to Chase Bank account number 867575169. The routing number is 0121. Donations by mail can be sent directly to the Bridges Community Church, 1010 East 174th Street, Bronx, New York 10460.
Erickson's parents, Robinson and Eve Villa, and Wellington's mother, Wendy Villa, are grateful to the community for the outpouring of prayer and support.
