State Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz, Assemblyman Marcos Crespo and State Commissioner Arlene González-Sánchez to visit Children at the Sports Foundation, Inc.
State Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz, Assemblyman Marcos Crespo, along with State Commissioner Arlene González-Sánchez from the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuses Services (OASAS), will be visiting the children who attend the Sports Foundation, Inc. located at 871B Westchester Avenue, Bronx, New York between Prospect Avenue and East 162nd Street on this Wednesday, August 13th, at 11:00AM.
According to Senator Díaz, “The Sports Foundation, Inc. is a not-for- profit organization funded by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuses Services to provide after school services and summer programs to the poor children who live in my district. I have invited Assemblyman Crespo and Commissioner González-Sánchez to a tour of the program to make sure that State support for this important and necessary program remains here in the South Bronx where it is needed.”
