A Tragic Death in Our Senate Family
You should know that on Friday, August 15, 2014, while we were all busy in my District Office taking care of the public, a phone call came for my Chief-of-Staff, Helen Jacome to let her know about the tragic death of her 25-year old son, Brian. Brian Jacome was killed at work doing regular elevator maintenance in a 15-story building in Atlantic City, New Jersey, that housed 150 apartments for elderly and disabled individuals.
You can only imagine how any mother would react to horrific news like this about her child, and how completely devastated Helen was when she was told what happened to her son. To all of our friends, I ask for you to please keep Helen and her family in your prayers.
I’d like for you all to know that Brian Jacome’s wake will be held on Wednesday, August 20 and Thursday, August 21 at the Ortiz Funeral Home, located at 615 Soundview Avenue, Bronx, NY 10473. Visiting hours are from 2PM – 9PM.
Brian Jacome’s Funeral will be at 10AM on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Holy Cross Church, located at 600 Soundview Avenue, Bronx, NY 10473.
This is a tragic death in our Senate family.
This is Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz, and this is what you should know.
