Veterans Day Message

Dear Veterans and Friends,

This Veterans Day, we express our unyielding gratitude for the men and women who have served our nation. Our communities throughout Dutchess and Putnam counties have a proud history of military service. Today also serves as an important reminder of our needed commitment to supporting our troops, Veterans and their families.

Working with the local Veterans Advisory Committee that I formed upon taking office, organizing our annual Veterans and Families Fair, and serving on the Senate’s Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee, have been some of the most important duties during my time in office. I believe we must work together as a community and state to best support our Veterans and their families. We can all learn from their selfless service to find ways that we can individually give back to our communities as well.

These brave women and men who have sacrificed and those who continue to sacrifice so much deserve our greatest appreciation. Thank you to all of our Veterans in the 41st District for your service.
