Statement by Senator Avella on the Ferry Crash in South Korea
April 16, 2014
I was extremely saddened to hear the news of the tragic ship accident that occurred this morning in South Korea. The ship was carrying hundreds of people, mainly young school children, and my thoughts are with their parents right now. I sincerely hope all the missing will be found alive and safely returned to their loved ones. I also extend my deepest sympathy to the victims and their family members.
