Moffat Library Legislation Sponsored by Senator Bill Larkin Passes Senate

Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) announced today that legislation (Senate bill S.7066) to allow the Moffat Library in Washingtonville to be eligible for Dormitory Authority financing has passed the Senate.
Moffat Library is planning a multi-million dollar renovation of its historic building and this legislation will allow the library to apply to the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York to assist with the financing of the project.
Senator Bill Larkin said: “This legislation was requested by the Library’s Board of Trustees and will allow them to undertake this significant renovation project. I look forward to seeing this beautiful building restored to its former glory.”
The bill was sent to the Assembly.
