Statement by Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) on Today’s Compassionate Care Vote:
“It was a privilege to be able to vote in favor of this important legislation,” said Senator Larkin. “This is a historic day in Albany and I am grateful this bill will soon be headed to the Governor for his approval. The treatment options available in this legislation are currently being used effectively in other states to treat the chronically ill. I am relieved New Yorkers will now have the same choices when it comes to treatment as patients across the country.”
