Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) said today: “I am extremely disappointed with Governor Cuomo’s veto of the veterans’ buyback legislation (S.7839/A.6974-B) and I am especially disheartened that he chose to do so the eve of Veterans Day. I am currently in the process of meeting with my legislative staff in order to determine the best course of action to move this issue forward in spite of the Governor’s veto. I will continue to do all I can to ensure that New York’s veterans receive the benefits they rightfully deserve.”
