Senator Lanza Sponsoring Free Civil Legal Services & Free Mammography Screenings

In the recent state budget Senator Lanza secured funding for a Mobile Legal Help Center which allows the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) to provide free civil legal services to New Yorkers in need. Private meeting rooms and technology inside the vehicle enable it to function as a full-service office. Lawyers onboard the Mobile Legal Help Center will be stationed at Lanza's district office, located at 3845 Richmond Ave. in Eltingville, on the following dates: 

Friday, August 14 • 10 am - 3 pm
Saturday, August 29 • 10 am - 3 pm
Wednesday, September 16 • 10 am - 3 pm
Friday, October 9 • 10 am - 3 pm

THEY WILL PROVIDE FREE LEGAL ASSISTANCE ON A NUMBER OF ISSUES. SPACE IS LIMITED AND AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED.

Lanza is also hosting free Mammography Screenings on Saturday, August 15th  for women over 40 who have not had one in the past year. All insurance plans are accepted and co-payments and deductibles are waived. An appointment is necessary. Please call 1-800-564-6868.
