State Senator Betty Little today announced she will again chair the Senate Committee on Cultural Affairs, Tourism, Parks and Recreation. Little has served as the chairwoman the past four years.
“We’ve seen a renewed emphasis on funding tourism promotion by the State the past several years and it’s paying off with more visitors and increased revenue,” said Senator Little. “There’s room to grow and a lot of potential particularly given all that social media offers.”
Little also has been tapped to serve on the following committees: Crime Victims, Crime and Correction; Education; Energy and Telecommunication; Environmental Conservation; Finance; Health and Rules.
